Light-Up Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag, the traditional outdoor-active team game that keeps kids moving and smiling all summer long, is especially exciting at night, thanks to this game set’s light-up flags and light-up bases! Set includes two flags and two bases (one red, one blue) that'll glow for up to 24 hours of continuous light. There are many ways to play the game, all of them fun!

To start, establish a playing field. Whether indoor or outdoor, the field is divided into two clearly designated halves, known as territories. Players form two teams, one for each territory. (It is also suggested that teams wear dark colors at night to make it more difficult for their opponents to see them.)

Each team then takes a flag. The objective is to find and capture the other team's flag, located at that team's “base,” on their side of the playing field, and bring it safely back to their own base. (How and where to set up a base is up to each team.) If one team has the opposing team's flag on their territory they may be tagged because they have the opposing team's flag; these players are then, depending on the agreed rules, are either: out of the game, designated as members of the opposite team, sent back to their own territory, frozen in place until freed by a member of their own team, or “in jail.” Once a player gets the opposing team's flag back to their own base, the game is over and that team wins!

Requires three AAA batteries per base and three AG3 batteries per flag (all batteries included).
